Summer & Fall 2024 | Wow!

The Jonny Mogambo Band have had an amazing summer and fall of 2024!  We have played some incredible parties all over Colorado from Denver, Vail and Beaver Creek to Telluride, Crested Butte, Aspen and Steamboat. We have had some wedding parties fly us into Michigan, Oklahoma and Canada.  We still it make it our mission to throw you, the bride and groom, your family and all your friends the best celebration party with the best live music you can find in Colorado. We would like to share a story with you about one of our recent shows we played in Michigan.  We were playing our first set of music after starting with the first dance for the bride and groom, the father daughter dance and the mother son dance and we were well into having the dance floor packed and everyone jamming with us.  The father of the bride stepped up to me and said, "I have been to many weddings lately where everyone usually leaves by now.  You guys have this place rocking."  By the end of the night he also said, "...at the all the weddings we have been to, we have never seen a band keep everyone dancing and everyone here at the party all the way until midnight!"  It was true validation for the results we deliver at every event that we play. 

We put on a show that will keep you and your guests engaged, dancing all night and sometimes up on stage with us singing along and celebrating the good times being had by all.  Another story we have is all about the "circle of love."  We have this special thing that happens all the time when we play music.  We call it the "circle of love."  This happens when we get so deep into a groove and we have the whole place jamming, that every forms a circle around the bride and groom and gives them their love.  When this happens, everyone in the band looks at each other with a nod of approval.  We know we have once again gone to that level of musicianship and connection with our audience where they circle up and celebrate in the most highest of fashion.  Long live the "circle of love!"

I have to say, it has been an amazing ride for the summer and fall of 2024.  We get to travel to all these wonderful places and play music for weddings and private parties all over Colorado and nationwide. It's truly a privilege to get to do what we do for a living and always an honor to play for all the great people we meet along the way.  Thank you to everyone for a fantastic summer and fall.  We look forward to seeing many more in 2025!
